High Sierra Painting

Kipp Cooley is High Sierra Painting's owner and contractor. In 1993 Kipp began learning about wood restoration from his father who was the previous owner of High Sierra Painting. He received his contractors license in 2003 and loves enjoying all the Truckee-Tahoe area has to offer. When not at work Kipp enjoys spending time with his wife and 2 small children. He is also an avid skier, NASCAR and Ryan Newman fan.

Keaton is Kipp's brother and our very talented webmaster extraordinaire. He is our "washer man" as he likes to call himself. He gets to play with water and chemicals and bleach all day!!! Every house is different, which allows him a great sense of accomplishment when he prepares each house to be sealed with a protective layer of stain. When not "on the job" Keaton can be found on the many mountain bike trails around Prosser Lake in the summer and skiing the bumps at Northstar in the winter. He currently is an EMT-B and hopes to one day become a Paramedic!

Chaz, also one of Kipp Cooley's brothers, has been working for us since he was 15, painting foundations, trim and masking windows. He loves to Fly Fish and dreams of catching "the big one". His finesse casting gigantic 40 foot loops of line certainly helps him when it comes to masking gigantic windows 40 feet off the ground!!! We are constantly amazed by his work and cool demeanor. We hope to employ this young man for many years to come!

Regina Cooley is Kipp's super supportive wife and co-owner of High Sierra Painting. She has the daunting task of wrangling her two kids all while delivering lunch and the occasional "forgotten" or "lost" item to the job. A huge Dale Earnhart Jr. fan, Regina can be found on the beach, soaking up the sun at Sand Harbor in the Summer.

The "Business Manager"... Ominous title eh? Well here he is, Kenn Rieders. Crunching the numbers and helping High Sierra Painting stay in the black is his number one job. So what is his number two job? Suduko... Bringing huge financial experience to this growing painting company through his MBA and 28 years of tax preparation experience allows Kipp to focus on what is really most important... Scheduling eight jobs in two weeks, coordinating delivery of materials to each job site, sending out bids, contacting clients and making sandwiches for a hungry crew sound like a lot? It is. But our Office Manager Julie Cooley-Rieders makes it look easy. She even homeschool's her remaining kids on top of all that office work! Pretty amazing... Julie is actually Kipp's, Keaton's and Chaz' Mom (or "Madre") and enjoys spending her summers on Lake Tahoe and her winters cooking amazing food. One day she tells us she is going to write a book. Keep your eyes open, It may be the next best-seller! She has quite the stories to tell from raising six kids.
